I was born and raised in New York City and spent most of my childhood on the sets of movies, TV series, commercials, music videos, and photo shoots. My mom is a an Emmy noninated make-up artist and make-up teacher, my and dad works in film production and as a 1st AD. After spending 17 years in this environment and watching my mother at work, I started my own career as a makeup artist in 2004.

When I decided to pursue a career as a makeup artist, my mom taught professional makeup artist classes at her NYC store. Mom's 'Makeup Bootcamp', along with other courses taught by various makeup professionals in my mom's school, were the basis of my training. After a year and a half of professional experience, I moved to Los Angeles at the end of 2005 to attend a special makeup effects course at Makeup Designory. I stayed in Los Angeles for the next 5 years, where I did a little bit of everything in my first few years. But my focus and most of my work was in film.

During my career, I have often worked as an assistant to other makeup artists. In my opinion, assistance is also a form of further education. It is an opportunity to become a better artist, learn new techniques, and step out of your creative comfort zone. It's often the best way to learn first-hand, the ways of a new field of work.

When I returned to New York in 2011, I decided to change my focus from film to fashion. The best entry into the fashion world was working as an assistant. In this way, I was able to work for great designers and do makeup on some of the most famous models. Since changing my focus was like starting a whole new career, I also started working as a makeup artist for MAC. For almost 5 years, I balanced my self-employment work with working for MAC. The time I spent with MAC is very valuable to me in hindsight, as I had the opportunity to work with many different faces, skin tones, and skin types. It strengthened my versatility and skills and also opened the door for me to the world of wedding make-up, as many of my MAC clients became private clients for weddings and events.

When my time at MAC ended in 2016, I focused on film work again. Four months/two films later ... SURPRISE!!! PREGNANT!!! I continued to work, but as an expectant mother, I wanted to be sure that I could find a job that was better suited than film for the first few years of my daughter's life. I also knew that having a deeper knowledge of the skin, cosmetic ingredients, and skincare- to give my clients more than just great makeup, would be beneficial to my skills as a makeup artist. As a result, I completed my esthetics training and became lisenced to practice esthetics in May 2017, shortly before my daughter was born. Motherhood completely changed my life. I adopted a more nature-based lifestyle and discovered energy work, after which, I trained as a certified Reiki practitioner.

My lifestyle change and new trainings, combined with my experience as a makeup artist, became what I now call 'Love.Light.Beauty'.

More than just make-up! More than just the surface. I combine my practical knowledge and skills with the concept of energy work. I strive to fill the environment and experiences I create for my clients with positivity and love energy. I want my clients to feel and look really beautiful. Not covering up, but highlighting the natural beauty while encouraging the inner beauty of my clients to shine outwards. That's what I call beauty-wholeness.
